Fishing Jigs for Micro Jigging or Traditional Jigging

There is a lot of hype around the concept of micro jigging and slow pitch jigging and that is for good reason. It is extremely popular in Japan, Singapore and Malaysia, and Aussie Fishos are starting to get the bug too. It is worth buying a number of different sizes so that on the day it gives you enough options to change jigs if you are struggling to entice that all important reaction bite. All of these lures will work but a tried and tested pack which we have had the most success with is the 40gm Koika jigs by Gomoku. It is probably also worth considering a Slow Rocker also by Gomoku so that you have a lure with a different action to the Koika.

The best way to rig these is to tie your leader to a swivel, then you can switch lures easily by attaching the split ring from the lure to the bottom of the swivel
